The Trans Ideology takes center stage at event meant to drive the conversation of protecting women in sports and education.

Turning Point USA has made a name for itself over the last few years, setting speaking engagements at college campuses to rally young conservative voices. They are just as well known for provoking debate in places that are nearly always a haven for the ideologies of the left. In many instances, rather than debate, these events provoke something more akin to violent outrage and protests.

Such was the case Tuesday, January 21 on the University of Washington campus in the heart of Seattle. Scheduled for a speech on the need to protect women’s sports on college campuses by forcefully keeping men out of them, Olivia Krolczyk, a Riley Gaines Center ambassador, arrived for her 6 p.m. event to a protest swelling to as many as 150 UW students.

The protest, coordinated by the school’s Students for a Democratic Society, was primarily made up of transgender-identifying students as well as trans-activists, furious at Krolczyk’s invitation to speak on the UW campus. In an Instagram post before the rally, protest organizers singled her out individually.

“On the second day of the second Trump presidency, Turning Point USA will be bringing Olivia Krolczyk, a right wing activist who is trying to make a name for herself by fanning the flames of hatred against trans people across the United States,” the Instagram post’s caption read. “Join us in saying that our campus community stands for trans rights, and that we’ll continue to organize and fight under a Trump presidency to defend our rights.”

Krolczyk became a national story when she was given a failing grade at the University of Cincinnati for using the term “biological woman”.

The event, held in Thomson Hall, started as scheduled, but was quickly disrupted as a fire alarm was pulled and loud banging was heard on the doors and windows of the hall. UWPD evacuated the building temporarily, eventually determining that no fire had occurred. The event resumed, but was quickly shut down for good as more banging was heard, windows were broken and several noisemakers were tossed into the event.

In the end, Krolczyk, who spoke at an event on UW’s campus last spring, was encouraged by the response.

“I’m almost excited [about being shut down], I know that sounds weird, but I’m excited because that means we’re doing something right,” Krolczyk said. “We’re speaking the truth and they can’t handle it … I’m going to keep preaching the truth because that’s what God wants me to do.”

Turning Point is no stranger to violence or rage-stoked protests by leftist indoctrinated students the nation over. But that is part of the role that Charlie Kirk and his organization have embraced as they continue to bring to light the poison being fed to young students all over the country. Those who protest TPUSA are well coordinated, well funded, and vehemently determined to shut down the speech that TPUSA has to offer.

Despite their often successful attempts to shut down these events, TPUSA’s message is still heard loud and clear.
